T39 bug roll call request |

Dear T39 bugmeisters
I've taken the plunge and bought my T39, which, after initially telling me it wasn't possible, the service centre have upgraded to R4A0008.
The shop will replace it if I return it within a week, so I'm desperately seeking any bugs within this time. There don't appear to be any problems with SMS, the phone hasn't automatically shut itself off yet, and the only menu which appears in a different font is the contact list.
What other major bugs should I be checking out?
The battery life may be an issue. First charge I only had 40 minutes talk time and about 80 hours standby. This is a lot less than I've seen some (real) people quote, but I'm not sure if it's the same battery - I've got the "ultra slim".
Please let me know if there are any other issues I should be checking out in the remaining few days.
Thanks |

You should REALLY change the battery. I also had problems with mine: it just wouldn't charge... so they gave me another one.
My talktime after a full charge is about 8h and the standby time 230h
says something about 11h with 300h, but it's bullshit. |

@melk
the "11h with 300h stand-by time" is an estimate made by and doesn't mean you'll be able to achieve those times. In fact, they also state that such times are network dependent, and that there are other factors to be considered too. (climate, etc.)
ciao
I hope you all are enjoying your T39 as much as I do. |

Are you folks talking about actual time, or displayed time? After a charge, my phone shows 200 hours standby and 8 hours talk time, but I actually get about 100 hours standby with 1 hour of calls and about 30minutes total of "active" non talk time.
Whichever way I try and figure this, it doesn't add up. I've also seen other people say that they get a week out of their phone, so something's wrong somewhere. |
