I haven't seen anything but why would you want to do that?

There is a GSM/GPRS wireless jacket you can buy but thats hardware and not what you asked for. Also it costs more than a new T610 anyway.

You can, of course, do data on the ipaq using the T610 via bluetooth or IR

The HP 5000 WAS a phone/PDA but it was a complete flop, so it would appear the ipaq's are not well suited to this use.

Oh well, I just thought it was possible.. I guess you're right - its a stupid idea.

Thanks anyway

Pachy, oh yeah, I was actually wondering what the sim card slot was doing behind the battery of my h5555..

yeah its weird. My 5450 has that sim slot but some later 5450 model do not so its strange that the 5550 has it again even though it cannot be used.

Yes, a fresh production run of casings without the sim slot may have come a little late, the entire 5*** range were going to have SIM capabillity.
I have no idea why the company withdrew that phone option, i was waiting to buy one, but with the fairly large extra ariel it did look very big.
If anyone managed to buy or test one i would be interested to hear, as it just dissapeared.

@alfaromeo777, Well if you had a sim with good rate for data, but not good rates for other services, you could keep it in you ipaq,
i'm always on the lookout for SIM/Duo hiding places, i find a "pocket" made from masking tape (no sticky areas left active) works well under the P900 battery cover & also on the back of the flip is a cheeky place.
