I am wondering if it possible to connect up to O2 GPRS using my laptop and Bluetooth adapter. Can you set up a connection in the normal way within Windows (XP)? If so, what details do I need to input? For example, Username, Password and dial-up number.
Many Thanks in advance,

I've managed to connect using GPRS at a speed of 115kbps but can only view O2's website. Every other site including Esato is not accessible! Is this normal or am I still doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance
Phil

Skin, you've probably sorted this out now, but just in case...
I tried to connect my z600 via a simple serial data cable (why not!? keeping it simple to start with!) to my PC and managed to connect but couldn't get any data into my browser as I think you also described if I've understood right.
I rang o2 and they confirmed that I needed to upgrade my GPRS tariff called 'mobileweb' enabling email & web browsing. Previously I was trying to connect using GPRS WAP settings instead. The APN, UserID and passwords are different.
Hope this gives you some insight into why you might not be able to download anything other than the o2 homepage.

good luck
Also, o2 also told me that if you use 'gprs mobileweb' you cannot use 'gprs wap' so therefore you cannot send MMS messages. It is one or the other unfortunately!
