I just got this email from SE.
Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson.
Regarding your enquiry concerning the T68. The software upgrade to a T68I, we will have further information relating to if a charge will be incurred at the beginning of June, when the software will be released. With relation to the change of the cover for the handset; you will be able to keep the original cover of the handset.
Shouldn't it be free like any other upgrade?

I think that if they want to charge for it, they should only charge those who want to change the cover and the software. If someone wants to upgrade only the software there should be no charge like all software upgrades until now. |

it's free from  side... they will not take any charge for it, they see it as an ordinary warranty upgrade... however, some servicepoints may take a charge for it... |
