Mms for T-Mobile in Uk in June!! |

It was reported in The Guardian today(19-4-02) that the rebranded one2one - T-Mobile - will be launching MMS in June. It also states that T-Mobile would like to be the biggest provider of wireless serivces to business customers within 5 years. Yeah right!!
New name, new approach? I hope so cos one2one was quite poor and never really got its act together.
Anyway, its seems that everything is falling into place with regards to MMS, upgrade from m to i etc. I've also read somewhere that MMS with be discounted/free for a limited period until the Autumn. I don't know if this is true but it seems that Europe is gonna go MMS crazy by the end of the year.
P.S. It seems that not everybody's service provider on their phone has changed from one2one to T-Mobile. Mine changed yesterday evening. Any more news on this? |

Was one2one already a part of T-Mobile? I use Voicestream here in the states and they have always been the US reaching arm of T-Mobile. There is also a T-Mobile rebranding going to happen here in the USA as well in the next few months I think. Looks like T-Mobile is looking to have some global recognition.

One2one was bought by Deutsche Telekom some time ago. T-Mobile seems to be the global brand of Deutsche Telekom. |

Yep T-Mobile the global branding of Deutsche Telecom and all there owned networks will be getting the "Globalised Branding" Treatment, with the rebranding it makes one2one part of the 2nd largest telecoms network after Vodafone

Czech operator Paegas also changed name to T-Mobile. After that we got some extra free minutes, 5 MB free on GPRS, but still no MMS. |

all t-mobile uk customers should have T-Mobile on their screen by the end of May, SE UK have also confirmed that the i upgrade will be available before the end of the month - It was recomended I keep checking the esato forum as they expected the confirmation would be on the forum before anywhere else.
Good endorsement for esato!! |

I've got a T-Mobile MMS phone! It's brilliant, I think it's going to be huge, it's so easy and fast...just a shame I've not got that many people to send the messages too yet! I've been sending friends pictures of me to their email accounts, it's soooo cool! |
