Hi,
I am not sure how much of this is true, but I heard that the firmware for SE phones is being written by WIPRO India, I knew they were wroking on Ericsson AXE Switches, but are they also working on SE phones? Anyone has got any other info pls post.

the firmware platform for older Ericsson phones was made by TietoEnator, and as far as I know TietoEnator is still involved in the development for mobile phones.

I wouldn't be surprised if Teleca also has something to do with SE software. I think AU-system did some things and Teleca bought AU-systems.

According the SE repesentative there are only 2 authorised service centers(Accel and Salora) in India that can upgrade firmware.
