Need a Comprehensive Smartphone |

Any recommendations for a smartphone that has comprehensive features?
I started with the Ericsson R380s, moved to the Nokia Communicator 9210i and ended up with the Sony Ericsson P800 (now).
I need a phone that has complete bluetooth profiles and fax. The P800 and now P900 continue to lack both (no handsfree BT profile unlike the T610 and still no fax sending/receiving), the Communicator and Handspring Treo 600 have no BT.
Any ideas/recommendations either now or in the not-too-distant future? |

Get one of those pocket pc phones... you can do a lot with them... fax, print, MSN, surf through WiFi, play media, edit word and excel, etc...
They are more of a pda than a phone so it might turn you off. |

I checked out the XDA II, problem is as you say it's more of a PDA with a phone function added on. Nasty to hold as a phone and it's BT profiles are incomplete at the moment and await a firmware update according to their website.
You know I'm really surprised that smartphone manufacturers have to yet produce the all-in-one device.
My-Symbian lists one of the P900's disadvantages as not having fax capability.
I don't know how long I have to wait for a smartphone that will include both fax and comprehensive Bluetooth functions but I'm certainly not giving SE my hard-earned money in return for a cosmetic redesign and a (not very good) camcorder function that is their idea of an improved product, P800 vs P900. They obviously don't listen or bother with people who need a smartphone for serious everyday use. |
