I just got the news that Voicestream (US Market) will officially carry the Ericsson T68, Motorola V60G and V66 ...launching this may..and for sale in june...Price of the T68 with a contract will be roughly around 300 ...means the cost is lower than that..roughly around 250 or less..!! right now..unlocked T68 cost me $350.......

sounds good...now all what I need is the unlocking software for the t68....

ok first..

Voicestream never carried T68.....they are just starting now....in june... proff: http://www.voicestream.com check out the phoens they carry now...

second..
not for sure though..but I've heard that they will sell the T68 WITH a contract for 300.00 as I have heard...I'm not sure yet..so far..they just told us that they will start selling it in june.....
The dealer price..(cost) will be roughly 250 or probably less than that....but currently..I buy it for 350 USD from my sources ...Unlocked...but now..voicestream will have their T68 locked...what's why they will be alittle cheaper...

Uhh? I've seen Voicestream offering T68 in March already. What are they talking about?

Besides that, what normal person in the US would buy a GSM phone for? Far better selection for them to choose from on a cheaper price range and more options

Unless these Voicestream phones allowed international calls (So I can go across borders), it's not very tempting.

Actually, Voicestream won't be officially carrying the T68 until June, or the summer. I had just asked them last night. But I do know that the Motorola V60g started to be carried by Voicestream last week and I'm guessing the Motorola V66 will follow soon afterwards.

As for why Americans buy GSM phones, for me at least, I buy them because you can swap SIM cards and I like using tri-band phones for when I travel.
