Carphonewarehouse won't be able to remove the Vodafone icons for you.

The only place I know that does it is MobileXchange in West Kensington, is that too far out for you? It'll cost £20 too.

how long does the process take?

also will MobileXchange be able to remove the icons - or will it just be a firmware update?

Shouldnt take long, theyll do it while you wait.
Yeah theyll remove the icons too.
I was there this morning but I didnt want to pay £20 to get it down, I was hoping to pay £10.

Does anyone know of anywhere cheaper?

Yes, if you go to rs electronics in tottenham, they do it free if it's in the warranty period. get off at seven sisters, and it's about a 1 mile walk straight up the road towards white hart lane. it's on the left hand side of the road about 80 yards after the football stadium. x

Surely they wont do a flash to get rid of the voda icons free?
Its not an official SE firmware so I dont see why they would

Can anyone confirm this?

RS will only get rid of the icons for 17 quid.

Ask to speak to Nigel, he should do it.

Make sure you don't shout about it, as he doesn't want the 'general public' knowing about.
