Does anybody know when sony ericsson will release downunder. I rang them and all they are saying is couple of months or 2nd quarter.
Does Anybody actually know dates ? |

I am from Australia mate and i already have my t68i but i purchased it over the web. I spoke to a sony ericsson consultant and they told me that the phone will be released here in Sep-Oct this year, maybe longer depends on network testing. |

As always aus is the last 2 get new technology. New firmware is always realised worldwide. SE has stated that in w20 the new software is out. Se will not realise the update without t68i being launched first.

I am not sure, b/c i spoke to them and they said that somewhere may/june/july. The guy said there had to train all there staff on new hardware and shit like that(but thats bullshit).
By the way do you think its worth buying a new t68 for $830 ? But i am worried about recipts, and whether SE will give warranty as it is not from a dealer but from a individual.
I am always wondering whether its worth waiting for it and buying it on plan which probably cost $500 or buying outright now.

Yeah anyway, please kiwi's are always so obessed with beating australia, i have noticed. We have got over it but i can understand why you guys are so excited, it happens so bloody infrequently MATE!
Maybe there felt sorry for you guys , since they can't beat us in any sport we will give the phone to them...hahahaha. That was probably b/c a kiwi works in SE. |
