MSI Bluetooth dongle problem. Please help!!!! |

I have the MSI PC2PC USB Bluetooth Dongle (6970).
I have the CD that came with the dongle and Windows XP (no service packs). When I insert the dongle into an usb port, windows detects an USB device, but when I try to install the XP drivers, Windows just says these are not the right drivers, so I can't install them. I tried to install the software from the Autoplay menu, it says the drivers are installed, but when I look in the Device Manager, it's the same.
Do I have to d/l the last drivers??
Did this happen to someone?
Any ideas??????

Get the latest drivers from the mf website. BT should install fine with those. |

First of all, if your unsigned driver installation is set to block, you have to change that:
1. Go to system properties (right-click "my computer", choose properties)
2. Go to "hardware" tab
3. Click "driver signing"
4. Change the setting from "block" to "warn" or "ignore"
I think you also need to install SP1 though...
