HI guys,

Just wanted to let you guys know that today I took delivery of a very sexy Motorola V70e on orange. It is like no other phone ever produced and is simply extraordinary and very cool! Its no match for a T68 in terms of functionality or ease of use.. But the phone works well with very good build quality and much better reception than the v66e I had!

I got mixed reaction from my friends about the phone.. Some say is beautifully cool while others say its horible - I guess you will either love it or hate it. Samsung A300 lovers are likely to buy a phone like this if price isnt an issue and I think the phone would do much better than the V66, which was in very low demand and prices plunged in to free fall after 2 months!

Anyone else got a v70?

Well, even though it looks great, the functions are not that impressive! Small display, advequate buttons, no irda, no bluetooth and the list goes on..!!

It's a phone for those who don't need all the functions, but rather want a fancy and stylish mobile! I wouldn't buy one, but to each his own!

I don’t think so.

They produce some high quality radios, which is way ahead of many companies. Besides that, the Motorola phones have a hell of a lot better reception than Nokia and Ericsson combined (Probably great for industrial or rural/Wasteland areas, hehe). I also think there price is high because of the casing’s material they use (I’ve seen casings made out of silver for Motorola phones, sheesh).

Although, I still wouldn’t want to buy one

Deltayoda ->

You might find the T68m/T68i a fancy & stylish phone, but there's nothing very extrodinary about it! It's not metal and is not meant to be a designer phone! A designer phone usually have a really special design, but usually not all the functions! It's targeted at those who want a really special designed phone, and not all the functions you and I want since we bought the T68m/T68i!

But I feel that the T68 is the best phone that has both good looks and all the functions! So it's a bit stylish and fancy, but it's not a metal Nokia with no functions (thank god) and I don't think it's targeted at the people who bought a Motorola V70!

Hi,I think Motorola has had one point better than SE up to now...Marketing! What they did to t68m proves that SE still has to work on it.Phones are good but they are not enough customer focused.Motorola are status symbols... :-o

@Escobar

I totally agree with you. I find the T68m and T68i both rich with features and stylish. I’m sure people will come out with some super metal replacement casings for the T68, but that’s not really necessary for me Although, I’d get one anyways, hehe.
