I just got a replacement phone back from service, and my joystick showed way over 10000counts!! And its supposed to be a "new" phone.
I called Support and asked them whats the deal with swap phones, I mean what to expect when you get a swap phone back from service - and all I was told was like "humble humble..." and nothing that makes sense!!
is way out of line with all their service demands!!
Swedish Consumer Laws says that when a product has an error for the 3:rd time, youŽre right to get your money back and return your phone, but claims that the phone has to have the same "error" 4times!! And it is som God Damn wrong!!

All people who are able to read knows that they are wrong!! But Geab still claims that is the "4:th times error occur" that really counts!!

that's the way it is.... have seen swap units with up around 100000 on the counter... same as all other phones with some sort of a counter (T28/T39 with its flipcounter for example), they are not resetted on most of the swap units...

Hi ElGato!
Yepp I surely will! And as it is at the moment, its not a lie!
When it works I love it, but those time are easy to count!!

I paid half a month salary fo my phone (as an Ericsson employee) for it and JUST should work - no matter what!!

Monday morning, Im back at Geab and claiming my money back or a T68i cause they feels mora stabile in HW.

And that thing with Joystick counter feels like a "joke", like they laughs right inmy face!! They should be able to reset it like all the other features on the phone! (Almost feels like wants to find out how long the Joystick will work)
I dont want an "old" phone back from service, if they cant repair it - give me a new one!! The cover on the phone I recieved was not in the same "shape" as new!!

S*CKS at the moment!!!

Hi there my last joystick started losing sensitivity at 200k - took the phone back and got it replaced with a new Swedish model (R2B) but do fear the jstick is a weak spot on the T68!

mrNoodles> Too bad the phone isn't working properly.
I never had any problems with my t68m, even with the old software.
So I guess it's kinda like the lottery when buying a t68.. seems like a lot of people end up with a bad buy.

If you wait 'til the mms upgrade comes out you'll see if youre phone is still unstable.. mine feels very stable neways.
But I think you should get your phone exchanged.
Geab is a big retailer, and they shouldn't give costumers used phones.

But if you work for ericsson, can't you get some discount when buying ericsson phones?
Can't you buy it through the company?

-hope it works out

No it feels like Im having a very bad luck with my T68Žs

The phone was replaced at their SP in Uppsala so I guess that its not completly their problem, but now Im so fed up with all problems, so first thing tomorrow morning IŽll be there! It still freezes and now that part with turning off while key lock is on...

According to Swedish Consumer Laws IŽll should be able to return my phone after the 3:rd time the same error occurs, but Geab policy says 4 so now Im having the same problem for the 4:th time

T68i or money back, and if IŽll get money back IŽll even might go to my local Telia Store and buy a T68i So bad I think Geab is!!

And no longer an Ericsson employee, got fired in March But I likes it, and I just read on Aftonbladet that Ericsson might have to fire yet another 10000 employees!! So Im happy that I was forced to leave my job now and not 2 month later or whenever it might be.
