Nokia is really pushing the EDGE (hehe) and moving towards small VGA camera phones.. Does SE have any plans on an active lifestyle phone? Or an EDGE phone?
ATM I have no info on the memory this thing has (hopefully 4-5MB as usual) or the number of chords in the polyphonic ringing tones.

I don't get the Bluetooth part... How does it connect to the Bluetooth accessory if the phone hasn't got Bluetooth?!

I have to say I liked the design of the other rugged Nokia phone the 5100. I think that looked nice but this is just plain ugly !
Edit - removed an extra zero on the model number

Good, but why do Nokia only do 4096 colour screens?

Was just using it yesterday...
It looks much better in the hand than in picture.
It's small and feels good in the hand.
And it has a compass!
And EDGE
And everything...!
Ok "just" 4k colors, but it's a small screen. Fine enough!
Ok, also, no bluetooth. But I wouldnt care less.
So. where are you? I guess they've lost the track...
Nokia have so many EDGE phones now. And there is most probably more EDGE networks up&running (if not in total) now out there than WCDMA networks.
Excellent! ahahahah! |

looks like this is it...nokia is finally going to overpower SE!!
they've always sold much more units than SE ,but SE were better phones. But that coming to an end, people only bought SE phones because of their superior quality over nokia, but buy the end of next year SE will fall a lot more behind....

Sonera will have their EDGE network running in Finland before the end of this year (first in Europe). Just in time when most of those phones are becoming available (3200 is already).

EDGE is just an enhancement of GPRS, to speed downloading time. It will just make your GPRS bills larger. WiFi is the real way to go (because they charge by minute not by kb like GPRS... more money saved). (Good thing my phone has an SD slot for a WiFi attachment). |
