I'm posting a little survey :
I would like to know the origin of your T68i. I have one which has been manufactured for Indonesian Market. I know it because inside my phone (remove the battery) it's written "indonesian warranty" and also because I only have 3 languages : english, Bhs indonesia, Bhs Malaysia.
Could you check where is yours coming from. I bought mine one ebay, does anyone bought his phone on ebay and have the same origin ?
I'm asking all this because I want to buy a new one on ebay but with other languages in it.
Thanks

I bought mine on E-Bay, and mine is English and Chinese only.

But, I already sort of knew the phone was from HK.

I got mine off Expansys and it is Indonesian (sp?)...I'm trying to see if I can exchange it for a European one (with French, German, etc) that doesn't have the 'font sizing' issue.

The language supported is only a software issue, it will change if you uppgrade the software...

nwmq1: true, exccept for two troublesome things 1) I live in the USA and to upgrade firmware requires an act of god and 2) I worry about the SE service centers in the UK or USA willingness to work on the phone that says "Indonesian Warranty" on the IMEI sticker.

Language actually only software matter, but since EMMA dongle is automatically select proper language with the one that already exist on your phone, then it's impossible to select other language than the one preinstalled on your phone.

You may overide this if you upgrade to Ericsson headquarters which have some tool to overide (higher privilage level), but on service point i don't think so.

Anyway the one that has Indonesian language will be fix 'font sizing' problem on next firmware release, cause this problem already reported to Indonesian SonyEricsson.

my g/f and i got two t68m's in hong kong--one had english and chinese, and the other had english and indonesian and malaysian (both were r1b firmware). when we got back to israel, we went to ericsson-israel, and they upgraded (for free--even though we have NO warranty at all!) the software in both of them to r2b with the language pack that contains hebrew (and which also contains english, french, russian, arabic, and farsi). he was also willing (if we had wanted) to put on a DIFFERENT language pack instead of this one. so it is possible to change languages, and they do it for free, even without a warranty.

My phone says “Made in Malaysia”, and I suppose the phone comes from Sweden because it had a Swedish instruction manual inside the box

Mine swedish made with dutch, english, france n italian languages: bought in south africa. Im wondering why malaysian made has indonesian warranty printed on the back, especially the grey units. Thinking SE release their units at indonesia first before other countries?

My T68m says it was made in Malaysia, but has probably 8 or 9 different languages on it, from what I have seen.
