As most of you know, my t68m has the same software as t68i nowadays.
So far I thought almost every change was positive, but now I've stumbeled across the new calendar.

When I made my appointement, I waited for the recurrent option to show up, cause I wanted to set that apointement to every tuesday at 22:30pm. But it seems the recurrent option is gone.

T68i users; is there a recurrent option somewhere in the calendar?
And I don't want to use "recurrent alarm", cause ·that means that an annoying clock will show in the display all the time, ·and I may forget why the alarm is going of every tuesday at 22:30pm.

I hope it's not gone =/

I can't find an option to make a calendar entry that
reoccurs in my T68i (R2A014).
Neither can I entry DOB when adding birthdays
and they do not reoccor next year either.
Perhaps they expect users to sync with outlook often
but I don't use outlook since it has so many bugs it

Seems like they have removed that option.Too bad really,'cause now I can't sync recurrent appoinments with Truesync. An option I use a lot!I've just upgraded to R2B025 sw and it has the same problem. Will there be a fix? Hope that SE understands that this is actually important for some users.Strange to remove such an option...

Yes.. it seems very strange to remove such an option.
I used it very much, and when I bought my phone I didn't even think I'd use the calendar.
But it really makes things easier, especially the function where tasks could recurrent on specific times.
Can't belive it's gone.

dw> But I have a birthday option I think.
When I go in to add apointement, there is an "anniversary" option among the icons, which should make youre appointment to reoccur every year.

But still.. the old calendar seemed better =/

I tryed just that in T68i R2A014 and it's not showing up next year.
I too expected it too.
Perhaps in R2B025?

i have an t68i, and in the calendar, after you enter an appointment, view it, then options, and you can copy it to other days, times, etc.
i guess that is the nearest solution to the recurrent appointment solution.

dw> Strange.. I don't know if it works on my phone.. haven't tried it.

angeldelight> Well.. in that case it's pretty good... I'll see if that works.

posted this question before, but:

has anyone tried creating recurrent tasks/appointments in MS Outlook and then synchronizing with their T68i? does this succeed in creating "recurrent" tasks in the phone's calendar?

Rickstur:
thanks! that's the answer I was hoping for. so there it is for all with a T68i (or upgraded T68m) who make use of recurrent tasks/appointments.

Sucks for us that don't use Outlook.

directly in the phone.
