I just found out a code for unlocking the t68, but it asks for a 'spck' code. Does anyone know what this is and how I can find it out?
Anyway, the code (which I figured out myself and haven't seen posted anywhere) is *<**<

the code is not just generated by the IMEI-number... you need a operator specific code as well.... |

You can connect your T68 with your PC and then you can find the program who unlock the T68.I have all the programms for Nokia phones.
I have to find fo the T68 when i am not gonna be busy.

Well apparenty the code is an algorithm of your IMEI number and your operators code, well I have found a list of operator codes at this address:
http://www.astalavista.com/mobile/spcl.shtml
But not of the programs at
http://www.astalavista.com/mobile/ersw.shtml
Allows me to calculate the code (althoughh there is software for other manufacturer), so, does anyone know the Ericsson algorithm to calculate the lock code? Or does anyone know how I can find it out? I can knock up a quick java app that will do this as long as I know the algorithm involved. email I_have@mac.com or reply here cheers |

By the way - I don't have a cable, and I asked my operator (Orange UK) about a code and basically they said "£20 + next 12 months contract up front" What a rip!!! |

Yeah even I have been looking for the code. Apparently the code generator varies from phone to phone that is because the algorithm is different for different phones. The algorithm is kept secret and so I guess it will be quite sometime before we get to know it.
There has to be someother software to unlock the T68. I hope someone comes up with one soon.

Not correct. Locking is a network protocol not a manufacturer issue. Your warranty is fine as long as the unlock works of course!
