According to a net-shop the price for a new 7650 with expected delivery date 03.05.02 will be EUR 896. The shop is quite expensive and sell the T68/T68i for EUR 691.

Do you think the 7650 will be worth the 29% higher price?

I guess it depends what you want from the phone. You are paying an awful lot extra for a huge phone with a camera. It's a lot to pay for a camera I think.

I was a Nokia faithful until I got my T68 last week. It has really opened my eyes to other brands. Some things are a little clunky in comparison like the T9, but on the whole the T68 is an amazing little phone.

If you are a dyed in the wool Nokia fan then I would suggest you will not be disappointed with it. But you may have to buy a suitcase to carry it around in!

The T68i + Communicam MCA-20(about 200 Euro) is about the same price as the 7650. With the Communicam, the SE-package has about the same functionality as the 7650 -still the weight is allmost 50 g. less.

My opinion is that the SE-package is a much more flexible combination and well worth the money.

Do not compare 2 different phones... 7650 has an Operating System to work, and so many extra applications to play with.

The T68 is a small PHONE, with very good communication capabilities... but it's not a competitor to 7650!

When is that 7650 ready for the stores anyway? Can you use different backgrounds on it?

Why not compare 2 phones. Isn't that the whole idea of making different models.

I can appreciate that the two may not be direct competitors for each other. As I said before It depends upon what you want. I personally don't want a phone with a digital camera in it. I have a digital camera for taking pictures. Equally I don't want to make phone calls on my camera. I have a phone for that.

I wanted a nice small phone and a nice small camera. I don't have to take both out with me when I go out and I don't need combat trousers to get them in my pockets.

the two shouldnt really be compared, mainly because they are two completly different products. the T68 is basically a phone. And the 7650 is more of a PDA. If comparing the 7650 to anything, compare it to the P800

I think it looks like a nice phone, but it's expensive and I think it's nicer to have the cam as an accessory that you can remove and leave at home when you want....

But the nice 4096 colours will probably be nice....

Is it out in US already???
