1st of all, it aint warrantied.....SE phones get their upgrades once in awhile kya u wont get it flashed for free, also think about spare parts, what if biglang nasira un phone, would they help to repair it or would they replace it? A friend of mine(na matigas ang ulo) bought a T610 in greenhills for 17k, while it was 20k at semicon and guess what; it had flickerin' problems. ngayon ayaw ng papalitan nung binilihan nya. un lng po.

raul... Greenhills phones suck.

These vendors are really out to take advantage of customers by selling them, either prototype or defective phones.

They jack up prices on new models (usually prototype so you get less than the retail package) and they don't offer warranty.

With phones, SW upgrades come very often... so free upgrades are worth it. has a bad habit of releasing crappy firmware, and they usually fix it along the way... so the initial SW release is usually buggy, then it gets fixed a few upgrades down the line.

GH phones also are usually the Chinese version... these are horrible if you don't use the Chinese menu (which is why they are supposed to be sold exclusively in China) since the Chinese language takes up so much space and CPU power that it usually glitches up the English menu.

These phones are NOT honored by SE Philippines since they are not trained for these units (Only SE China/HK is equipped for the Chinese versions)

The worst part is that Greenhills shops usually give you a fake "in store" warranty where you can return the phone to them if it is proven to be defective... BUT (and this is the catch) they don't have any phones in stock so you have to return the phone to them, then wait for their shipment to arrive...which is usually in 4-6 months.. depending on their mood.

Stay away from Greenhills phones ... unless they sell it for less than HALF of Semicon's prices. If it's just a few thousand... believe me...it's not worth it.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah, I very much agree to all that have been said here. Why save a little thousand when the damage it will give you (not to forget the headache too) will cost more than what you have saved right??? ! Might as well borrow money from a friend when you got short than buying cheapies which are defectives. But my very good and practical advise would be - - - - - Buy second hand fones from 'reputable' sellers,- close friends and relatives are the best !!!
