hi there,
i'm from philadelphia, and this past weekend i was in nyc. i used Istream whenever i could (which was rare, really spotty coverage in manhattan, no coverage in queens w/ my T-68). anyways, i was reading somewhere on the Istream website that there is a $10/megabyte charge when outside of your Istream network. when do you know when you're outside your Istream network? and i hope this is prorated. will i be charged $10 extra this month for like a useless 50-75 kilobytes of data transfer?
also, my ericsson t-68 has a data counter. it racks received AND sent data. you get charged for received data, NOT sent data, correct?
thanks

You pay for both sending and recieving data, when using gprs.
But then again, you ONLY pay when you are actually sending or recieving. You're not charged for the time-period you spend on gprs.
