T68mc is not upgradeable to T68i---some questions |

If T68mc is not upgradeable to T68i, then there should not be
T68ic software? How come they can make a chinese version but said that they can't make upgrade from old to new?
I am very sad about the SE reply.
today T68i only cost HK$3200 just more HK$400 then T68...........
Assume that T68m software can REPLACE T68mc software, that is, the old software may be able to ERASED?
I guess the software is just like Microsoft Windows, have full ver and upgrade ver. SE must have a full ver of T68i software. Not matter what the language is that, if it is present why can't they use FULL T68i software to REPLACE T68mc software(they only need to "format the phone")?

who told you, SE? every T68 is updatable to a new OS like the one from T68i whether your phone is m, mc..etc... as long as it is the first T68. |

In real Sonyericsson doesnt update your version to new one.
Just erase the version you have and they load the new one.
Thats it...
Dont worry about your phone.T68m,i,c is design to be updatable anytime.If the Hong Kong SE finally dosent support the update you can update somewhere else...

I just called SE Hong Kong, they said they have no info whether the upgrade will be available yet. |

we have the same situation here in the philippines...even SEMICON, an ericsson authorized dealer and service center has no idea about the conversion. but still, they promised us the newer update (newer than R2B) and for sure thats the conversion of T68 t0 T68i....
