Guys...............SE loss the 5e place to LG.
So it's about time that SE trike back to the top 5.

FRAMINGHAM - De verkoop van zaktelefoons over de hele wereld is in het derde kwartaal sterk blijven groeien. 130,1 Miljoen apparaatjes werden aan de man gebracht, 21,2 procent meer dan in dezelfde periode van 2002 en 14 procent meer dan in het tweede kwartaal van dit jaar.
Dat blijkt uit woensdag gepubliceerde cijfers van het Amerikaanse onderzoeksbureau International Data Corporation (IDC). De aanhoudende groei komt van zowel eerste aankopen van een mobiele telefoon in ontwikkelingslanden als vervanging van toestellen op 'rijpere' markten.
Nokia bleef verreweg de grootste fabrikant, maar zag zijn marktaandeel ten opzichte van het tweede kwartaal wel dalen van 36 procent tot 35 procent. De verkoop van het Finse bedrijf nam toe met 11,2 procent tot 45,5 miljoen stuks. Het Amerikaanse Motorola wist zich te herstellen met een bovengemiddelde verkoopgroei van 27,8 procent tot 20,2 miljoen telefoons. Daardoor steeg het marktaandeel van 13,8 tot 15,5 procent.
Motorola nam daarmee meer afstand van het Koreaanse Samsung, ook al klommen de Zuid-Koreanen van 10,5 naar 11,5 procent. Het Duitse Siemens versterkte zijn vierde plaats met een marktaandeel van 8,7 procent en het Koreaanse LG Electronics keerde terug in de topvijf met 5,8 procent. Dat laatste ging ten kosten van het Japans-Zweedse Sony Ericsson (5,5 procent).

How is that possible only 5.5% when everywhere I look I see phones, most T68i because our operator did a massive campaign about mms and the T68i where at a cheap price ....
The most I see are Nokia, SE and Siemens and that's all, never saw someone with a new motorola, samsung or even lg |

Yup i agree that where i live (uk&greece) i see SE phones everywhere, and the only phones that i see more of are nokias. But we must not forget that SE only has large marketshare in Europe. Outside Europe SE phones are much more of a rare site. |

That is very much true, with SE mobile phone not much being of a presence in Asia.
Thats why when some of the latest phones and accessories of SE shows up here in the asian market, they do sell fast because if your not able to purchased the item you intended to buy, you would have to wait and see if the retailers would still order them.

Hey, hey, hey!!! The T610 I must say has strike quite an impact in Singapore... there are more T610s I see around each corner I go. Though Nokia still reign supreme in exploding phones, the sightings of SE T610 are remarkably higher than T68/i in its hey days.
What about the T100? It was such a phenomenon in Hong Kong that it broke Nokia's 8310 long standing record of no. of handsets sold...
P800? No competition, sorry, in this class. No one has met its mark yet...
