1) Has anyone got any idea if it is possible to use voice dialling with this MP3 handsfree? I just cannot get it to work.
2) Does anyone know if the BT can be turned off when it is just being used as a player? It is not in the manual, so I assume it is not possible. |

So do you recommend the new MP3 handsfree ?
Im thinking of buying it, does it work great or are there any complications ?
Can you use it as a usual handsfree and dial a number and talk in the handsfree if you know what i mean. |

Well, I really like it, but you do have to use good quality batteries, or making a phone call just drains them.
Apart from that, it is very, very small, stylish and the sound quality is excellent. The build quality is not bad, but is nowhere near as good as the phones, especially not the T610.
I simply cannot make it work with voice dialling, so you need to dial on the phone and it connects to the headset. Also, it does not seem to be possible to auto-divert the calls to the headset after a number of rings: you need to push a button on the headset to connect.
I would like to see auto answering and also voice dialling.
Generally, now that I have it, I like it; but I have to question whether or not I would have bought it had I seen it beforehand. |

I have got the HBM-30 to work with voice dialling, so it does work, but I needed to be in a very quiet room. Forget about trying to get it to work in the street.
Try recording your voice tags with the HBM-30 instead...?

I couldn't get the voice tags to record. How should I set the phone up to do this? It just seems to beep and then records nothing. |

To record voice tags from a bluetooth headset, you go to whatever voice tag you want to record as normal. When it asks you to record at the beep, press the send button on your headset. This will connect your bluetooth headset to the phone. As you're waiting to connect, your phone will (usually) time out and ask you if the recording was ok. Press "no", and record again. As the bluetooth headset is now (or should be) connected, this time it will record from your headset. Practice; with timing, you'll get used to it.
On my P800, the BT headset will only stay on for some 15 seconds or so, and then you have to connect it again for the next voice tag...whereas as my wife's z600 will keep the bluetooth connection going for all subsequent recording of voice tags. That's a nice feature. When are we going to get a firmware upgrade for the P800!
Good luck

the only way to put musik on it is with a memory stick reader or with the cabel wich follows the mp3 player.. to record music on it you have to put the cabel into the same contact where you put the speaker..

Has anybody managed to transfer the sound from the HBM-30 to a t610?
It says in the manual it works with certain models, but that doesn't say which ones.
I tried, but I couldn't get it working, has anyone tried this function with their phone? |
