Oops! Sorry about the previous blank! I was just gonna say that I actually seem to experience the opposite to you guys; I don't switch my T68 off very often, but when I do, I get a bit of a battery boost. A bit strange considering what happens to everybody else's phones! |

I used to experience this with my T68m, but after upgrading to R2B, it does not lose but gain power when I turn it off and on again! Dunno why the opposite happens to others!!

After realizing this, I don't turn my phone off anymore. The strange thing is my battery used to last 2 days at most. After about 30 charges, I started getting 4-6 days of power |

It seems that I don't have this strange problem but the battery drops about 2.5-3hrs after 1 hr use |

this is really strange...a have R2b too...but no boost!! I just turned the phone off and on again..result:
Before:
Stand by --> 258h
Talk time --> 5h 26m
After:
Stand by --> 133h
Talk time --> 3h 17m
I think this is not normal!!
I experience such a huge difference when I don't use the phone for 10 hours approx. (over night)
Please try right now and post what your differences are...thanks to everybody.

My Nokia 8210 was the oposit it turned it self off and
if I turned it on it could show 3/4 battery power but if
I talked it would die pretty quick. (could send alot of sms'es though)
I think perhaps its not easy to write software that makes an
very accurate power estimation.
I sure wish there will be an brakethrough in batterys soon for cellphones and PDA's I guess the nokia and p800 with build in camera and stuff will have very short use time before you have to recharge. unless the p800 uses the greater thickness mainly for larger battery. oh well |

same thing here--after upgrading to r2b, i get MORE time after turning the phone off and back on, whereas before (r1b), i used to get either no change, or a reduction in time. |

just tried it a few times in a row (i have r2b software). results:
before:
stand by: 46 h
talk time: 0h48
(i'm in the middle of my 5th day of use since my last recharge, turning the phone off every night for an average of 7-8 h/night...)
[turn off]
immediately after turning back on:
stand by: 48 h
talk time: 0h48
2-3 minutes later:
stand by: 51 h
talk time: 0h48
[turn off again]
immediately after turning back on:
stand by: 47 h
talk time: 0h48
2-3 minutes later:
stand by: 53 h
talk time: 0h48
[turn off again]
immediately after turning back on:
stand by: 53 h
talk time: 0h48
2-3 minutes later:
stand by: 52 h
talk time: 0h47
[turn off again]
immediately after turning back on:
stand by: 46 h
talk time: 0h47
2-3 minutes later:
stand by: 52 h
talk time: 0h47
anyhow, i think it might depend how soon you check it after you turn it back on. for me anyways, it seems like it usually needs a couple of minutes to "equilibrate" (upwards) after it starts displaying remaining time when you turn it back on... i usually get between 5-8 days with the battery between charges, with an average amount of talking/sms's/wap/bluetooth/IR... i really can't complain!!! |

Phone start up really takes up lots of power. To make ur batt life longer try draining ur batt til it turns off then charge while ur unit is off till full, ul get a gud charge after that process
