I'm using MO's guide and in Photoshop where I am editing my picture I have a problem.
On the "image size" when I adjust the width to 128 it makes the height 91 pixels. If I change this to 160 it then knocks out the 128 width.
It comes out really small and when further down you cut up the screen the lines are outside the pictures border - help!
Just gone back to start - when using a picture I used 'open' option rather than "import" as that didnt show any pictures.
Also my picture ios at 16.75% rather than 100%

I think you missed a step, where you have to select the "fixed width ratio" of 128 * 160 px. |

Uncheck "constrain proportion" |

sorted that now - I had actually changed the size of the image incorrectly.
I'm doing the Blending bit now but when I choose "Blending Options" I only get "general Blending" and not the Outer Glow option so it doesnt work.
Using trial version 7.0
Thanks for any help guys |

the left hand side of the blending options box there should be a check-box list of different bledning types

Yeah I was checking those but didnt realise you also had to click on "inner glow" text to bring up those options!
Well not bad - only took me the best part of an hour and a half to create the first theme of my baby daughter!
You know on some themes the second page has a different image on it - is that easy to do rather than have the blurred one? |

i kept doing that, i thought i had to change the image size to what he had. but it worked fine if i just press ctrl+n then OK.
edit: yeah it's easy to do instead of having two in one "wallpaper_desktop" just have wallpaper and do what you with the dektop but in a new window. e.g. get the new pic (128*127, i think it is) and past it in a new window titled desktop, then copy and paste the "T610desk" on it you know the rest.
hope this helps

If you wanna learn how to use photoshop check some websites with tutorials, heres one: voidix and be sure to visit the forums and the link section and stay with the link sections of different sites because most of the time they are linking quality sites and tutorials with google you won't find anything

Started my second theme and by chance or luck I still have a problem with the sizing of image at start.
If I unclick the constraints box can I leave it unchecked as if I then click it it changes the size again? |

with me i had this problem, i was entering: 1600 and 1140 as the image size then going to "Image->Image Size", i did this because of this:
instead don't enter 1600 and 1400 just press OK.
hope this helps

will give that a try - does it also depend on the original size of the picture used? |
