nokia is releasing this phone called the nokia 7700 and it seems bettterrr than the p900. Well, it has the built in apps like the word, excel, ppt editor stuff. It's internal memory surpasses that of the p9's. (20-25mb) and i think the phone comes with a memory card(64mb). What's more is that it's actually almost the same but..

P9's smaller
7700 can be a some sort of TV
7700 has FM radio support.... etc!

which phone's better? P900 or 7700?

Nokia seems better specification wise but P900 is already out, Nokias will be out in the first quarter which might be march... 5 months away...
as you said P900 is also smaller...

About the TV support... SE's got a TV phone in Japan that uses MS duo so I guess that could be released in Europe for the P900 too, but I don't think people want TV in the phones, it's just for techno freaks like us

The interesting thing about the Nokia is that it handles most of the MS office suite...

P900 will definately reign til the Nokia hits the market, after that it's hard to know, P900 might be a lot cheaper when the Nokia is introduced too... that makes a big difference...

Where on earth did you get that from? Some Esato SE nut? I'm 99% sure it can. And even if it can't, 3rd party applications will be developed shortly after its release that allow it to record videos.

And don't forget about Visual Radio which the 7700 supports. Once radio stations start using it, you can view multimedia content in the radio application like the band's picture, the song's name etc

Kiss FM and Nokia are testing Visual Radio in Finland atm, while the digital television module is in testing in the Helsinki region.

yeah but the screen is awesome......

i don't like the design though guys admit it it's a better future wise phone that p900.....

BUT as many have already said p900 IS already OUT and 7700 ISN'T

i think that 99.9% of esatorians never saw this phone in real life.....
sooooo you can't make any opinions on user friendly etc things
the only things that you can comment is:
design- my opinion
future wise- my opinion it's better than p900

No, you daft pillock, Visual Radio is like MMS compared to SMS. Or Internet compared to teletext. You can like, buy MP3's from radiostations. Nokia said they might start using Visual Radio instead of FM radio in their phones this year. It's a huge technical advancement. And Nokia is the first to have it. SE don't even have an FM radio phone yet.

oh and, according to a recent study, 70% of people in Finland who have an in-built FM radio in their phone, use it more than once a week. They don't seem to mind having to plug the headset in.

A mate of mine's applying for a job with Nokia.

I asked him if it was anything to do with designing phones, as they seem to be in desperate need of a new designer...

Unfortunately, it's not, so more kebab phones seem likely.
