I've had the same problem with an IR port on my old laptop, and an old nokia. Changing the speed had no effect. I found out that the bad connection was due to a lousy IR port on the PC , I did get it to work, but I had to line up the phone perfectly. The phone had to be perfectly level to the IR port, aproximatly 20-30cm away from the "eye"
Give it a try...

The phone is seen only when I try to send something to PC.I feel that some sort of one way communication is enabled. Is it possible? |

Nah, it should be seen all the time when in range (provided the IR is turned ON on the phone)
