hi,
i have a few questions about compatibility between se and nokias
.can i send midis from SE to a nokia as a poly tune via IR/BT (if both phones have IR/BT ports) ?
.can i send jpg's and gif's (animated too) from SE to nokia (via IR/BT) ?

can any one with a nokia and SE please tell me ?

On it is.nt possible. Since i have tried it with 6610 and 6100. It only supports sending b cards

Series 40 nokias (6100 7210 etc) will only accept files from computer with a data suite, series 60 will accept files over bt or ir.

can u please tell me if nokias support MIDI's , JPG's and GIF's ? can i send them over IR/BT (using windows itself) as i send it to a Sonyericsson ?

you cant send ringtones over IR to a 6610, tis just impossible.

But DON'T MAKE the mistake of using a series 60 to perform a backup. Because once the Nokia has got the tunes, it will refuse to send them back..!

Lousy... piece of @#$#^ !

As soon as I found that out, reinstalled my T610... ohhh, that Nokia never saw the light of day again..

Series 40 can only receive from pc suite. Can only send media with mms. Good for the operators bad for users.

nok phones are programmed to be selfish as hell ....the only thing u can send to em are vCards.....midi files kenot be shared!!!! jpg files can only be shared provided the dimensions (in pixels) are the same!!!

in that sense, phones are more adaptive and user frendly......

planning to buy a nokia will buy a se now..
