How to use the onboard IrdA in motherboard? I have a motherboard with onboard IrDA.It has been mentioned in the manual but don't no how to use it.

There is only a 5 pin connector named SIR(serial Infra Red) on motherborad.I suppose some sort of cable is required to use it.

Yes, that's the port on the motherboard where you are supposed to connect an internal IRDA adaptor.
If I had all the answers, I wouldn't have any questions.
