Hi people,

I made a call record using sound recorder and now I want to send the audio file to my PC. When I try to send it via MMS, I get an error message telling me that the message is too big... The record is about 20 minutes and I really need to use it on my PC. Is there any other way to send this audio to my PC? I also have a BlueTooth adapter on my computer and GPRS service.

Any ideas?

Thanks [addsig]

I think you tried to send it via the sound recoder. There is really no option man.

Send it via "own sounds", there you have the option to send it via ir and bt.

Thanks for your idea, but on send menu, the bt option is gray, unavailable... I just have the ir and MMS options available... Kind of weird...

Not sure why you can't send via Bluetooth... if you go into "My Sounds", select the recording from the list, and press the Option button, then Send, you should be able to send via Bluetooth... I do it all the time.

Perhaps you don't have Bluetooth enabled under the Connect menu?

Hi derinh,

I did just like that and no bt option available... BTW I was connected to my PC via bt using FMA without any problem.

My software revision is R2A014 (I get this via FMA), maybe is a firmware problem? Should I update to the latest?

Best regards,

Rodrigo.

Updating to most current version is definitely a good idea... I planning to upgrade to R8A this week. R2A is really really old. I'm currently using R3A though, and it works fine.

The other thing you might want to check is to make sure that your Bluetooth isn't already in use (like with FMA) when you are trying to send... it's possible that it could be disabled simply because the BT port is already in use.

Not sure what else to suggest.

Hey derinh,

You are right! The bt port was busy with FMA. Silly me... Everything works fine now, thank you!

BTW what is the main improvements and bug fixes on this new firmware?

My T68i works fine, the only complains that I have is the slow menus and the difficulty to reestablish signal when I lost it.

Best regards

I "back-up" my sound recordings to my PC everyday.

And the advice above regarding doing it from 'Sounds' and not 'Sound Recorder' is exactly correct.

However, one more tip - coz I got frustrated for a while when not all my recordings would transfer...

...make sure the NAME of the sound file on your phone is compatible with PC naming formats eg. don't leave any T68i symbols in the name or any characters like : or * or / etc.
If your PC doesn't accept a particular character then it won't accept an incoming file name that contains them either.

Hope this saves someone some frustration.
