Use my method:
Install irda adapter
Enable Irda in your mobile
start Outlook/contacts/edit contacts/save as *.vcf
right mouse click/send this file to nearby computer. |

that's not really syncing is it. it's only one way. can this method read all the contacts on the phone adn then edit the contacts in outlook accordingly? |

using that method you can send all contacts to the PC and they get stored in one .vcf file with begin/end around each contact. You can then edit in wordpad etc and send back to the phone.
Its not really sync but if you don't have outlook its the next best thing.
