Has anyone had the problem where accessing T-Zones results in a blank page? I'm using a SE T616. (not the T610)

The phone was originally on Cingular, & is now unlocked & working on T-Mobile.

I need to get into the T-Zones page to setup my email. If there's another way of setting the email up, I don't need to get to T-Zones, but I don't know how.

Thanks a bunch,

no, you need some form of gprs to access t-zones/wap which allows you to check email. without that, you can't receive any data (except for sms/mms).

never heard of this problem. delete your cache/cookies from your phone and try again. also, go to t-mobile's website and make sure you have the correct wap settings (SECURITY MUST BE OFF!).

i hope this helps.

I can access other wap addresses, (for example: wap.yahoo.com, or wap.sonyericsson.com) but the T-Zones wap address shows up blank.

I found a thread on HowardForums.com with a bunch of people with the exact same problem, but no one yet has a solution.

Does anyone know if the new "T616 R1B027 Uncustomized" firmware update will do the trick?

you can go to t-mobile.com and log in to your account. click on T-Zones settings and then you can set up your email though the website. I will try to get the Mailboxes url for you and will try to post it tonight.

actually, here is the url:
http://myemail.t-mobile.com/wap

after wap in the address is stuff specific to my account, but the servers should automatically log you in based on the info from your SIM card (like your mobile number) and will match you with the correct mailbox.

i hope this helps.

So far, that's the closest I've gotten yet!

I don't get a blank page right away anymore, I now get "Mobile E-mail" as the page header, & I can chose the only option there, which is "t-zones".

When I go into it though, everything blanks out.

I found a solution. I setup Exchange 2003 on my server, & can connect to my email box (http://www.myserver.com/oma). It sucks that T-Mobile is refusing to get their T-Zones site to work with "Unsupported" phones, just because they don't sell them in the US market. Apparently, the T610 works without a glitch, but the T616 doesn't.

I checked on the WAP headers my web server was getting, & it says SonyEricssonT616, If I can figure out a way of changing it to SonyEricssonT610 it would probably work!
