correction : the T610 sucessor will be called T650 and this So505i GSM version will be Z series ! Not sure whether both got the same features but just different design like the T610 and Z600 !
It is also very wise for SE to launch a GSM version of SO505i as it sold over 1.5 million handsets in Japan since launched in May. What would the number of handsets sold for this SO505i GSM version when they released for GSM market..................sure would be HUGE !

In a Turkish PC magazine, there was an article about the SO505i and at the end a sentence said sth. about a variant of the phone would be available at '04 in Turkey... I laughed too much that I had stomachaches!..

That would be a superb phone. I would like to have the Z version. Can't wait. Only the price would hold me. Any rumors of price?

I would like the GSM version of SO505i to be even smaller and lighter than this already improved SO505is which is a lot thinner at 25mm , wish the GSM version is a lot lighter like 110g ! hehe.......

Its about time they go and apply some of the Japanese technology in the SE phones commonly release around the world. The technology of Japan and artistic design of European phone makers would make the So5051 an interesting phone. |

Can't seem to see much about it, is it like a P800 in terms of it's pda power, or, ahem, is it a damn nice phone?
