It will work and you will gain memory but the pics,1 theme and 5 tones will still be there:)
If nobody wants it.. put it on eBay.

"oh.......and by the way, it doesnt really delete it, it just hides the pictures, i knew this cos i checked the memory status and when u master reset it again, the pictures are there again"

i wanna delete them cuz there pointless and using space. no point in just hiding them. :s

Please use the search option in future. All the information is there. Just this once i will post you a method on how to do this: Im not gonna be resposibe if you mess ya phone up though:

Before doing this make sure u back up all important information and save your phone book

1. I did a Master Reset on the phone

2. Make sure that Wallpaper, Startup picture, Screensaver and Auto Key lock are all disabled (turned off)

3. Create a text file in Notepad and fill it with a few characters\lines of text. I did this until the size of the file was about 300k. I then renamed the file to: "theme.thm" I made several duplicates of this file but renamed them differently.

4. Using BT / IR or your data cable copy the "theme.thm" files across to your phone. You must do this until your phones memory is full. You can check your phone memory by going to [Entertainment]-->[Games & More]-->then click mroe and choose memory status to get your reading.

5. Once the phone memory is full u wont be able to send anything else across. To verify that the phone memory is full try and create a phone book entry...if all has worked you WILL NOT be able to do this....Next do the following:

6. Go to [settings] and then choose [display] to bring up the display menu. You then need to choose [Wallpaper] and then click [Set picture]. You will not be able to view the pictures as there is no free menu to create the thumnails. You will just see an hour glass.

7. On the individual hour glasses (where the picture preview should be) you need to click [select] you should then receive a message that says something like "can not preview picture do you want to delete?" just choose yes for this. You will need to do this for all of the pictures

8. A quick tip....as you begin to delete the pictures memory will be freed up and therfore you may get the odd picture that gives u a preview thumbnail.....I did step 7 really quick and managed to delete all except for 1.

I now have 1572KB of free memory!!

I am on Orange network and this procedure worked the quickest for me.

This is for anyone who truly wants to get rid of ALL Vodaphone, T Mobile and Orange branding (and there seems to be a lot of you) visit http://premierdns1.co.uk/~talkinghoruk/329/remote.html . They offer a debranding solution which involves flashing your phone using the t28 data cable (which he can provide for £7). It costs £15 to flash the AVR. This removes most of the branding (mine was a Vodaphone) and left the first 2 icons as Vodaphone. However if you want to completely remove everything he will supply you the GDFS flash file for a further fee (he offered it me for £8 after I emailed him saying some of the branding was still there). This then put the phone to the SE defaults. BE AWARE though you will lose some of your settings ie the WAP settings (including the Vodaphone ones). I would recommend this to anyone, it was quick and painless. By the way you can now delete all photos. Anyone want anymore info just MSN me.

My t-mobile phone had all that stuff on but unlike some people
I could manually delete the stuff the only thing i couldn't delete is the theme. But i wouldn't delete it anyway because when active it free's up about 90k of mem.
