T68 software R2B013 + Edinburgh Service centre? |

I went into a Carphone Warehouse store in London yesterday (11th April) and they upgraded my phone to what they promised me was the latest software version and that it was the T68i version (I presently own the grey t68m). I previously had software version R1B which was fairly dire... crashing all the time and although this has stopped... I can't find links to any MMS software or the ability to store more pictures etc etc...
Basically I can't find any of the things the T68i has over the T68 and am wondering if I've been duped!
Also if anyone could tell me of an Ericsson service Centre in Scotland I'd be very grateful... I can't find one anywhere!

R2B is not the MMS upgrade. That will be R3B (Due week 20, May 13th to May 19th) |

Nothing like a bit of creative lying by the scumbags to get custom!
Now all I need is to know if there are any Flash centres in Edinburgh to save me having to go all the way to London again!

lol, no worries. Carphone warehouse will tell ya anything to make you happy. Even though it will piss you off later. Checked the Sony Ericsson webise for a service centre by you? |

I live edinburgh and there are a few i just went to the sony ericsson site and it tells u where all the service centres are!!! try it but i dont know what the fuss is cos i have the oldest software available on the ericsson t68 and my phones seems to have no bugs have never crashed and works just fine however i will get it upgraded for the mms |

Yeh but it won't actually load the page when i put in show service centres only box..... but will load fine when I don't check that box... it comes up with loads of places where they sell the phone but not where they service it!

yeah it definitely works cos i had it a few days ago i think there an error somthing cos it says the server down so try it otnight again hey where in edinburgh do u stay?#

yeah i live in craiglockhart have u seen many people with a t68 i have seen none in edinburgh yet- i wished it was more pupular so i could play two player games

I actually haven't seen a T68 anywhere up here yet, which as you say is a bit of a shame. Go down to london though any everyone seems to have them!
As for the service centre I think we may be unlucky! I asked about a bit at some of the stores and none of them had any idea what I was talking about!
Ah well next time I take a trip to london I guess! |
