I have just signed up to GPRS on Orange UK, and signed up to CMessenger. I am able to connect but it tells me my contact list is empty. I have double checked and even created a new account with CMessenger.

I have read a number articles that tell me that CMessenger can no longer connect to services such as MSN and Yahoo! Messenger.

Can anyone confirm this?

Any help appriciated.

It's a fact that MSN closed down the access to their protocol from other clients. :-(

For the same reason, you're not able to use an MSN Messenger version lower than 5.0. It's shite, I know. I fear CMessenger won't work until the developers close a (paid) contract with MSN.

Oh, and will it work on a T610? I would assume its Java based?

its not a java program, you connect through WAP.
and it works perfectly on the T610.
