I just got my T68i today (I seethe big difference is pictures, and GPRS speed), but I definitely feel there are usage issues and settings that would be nice to discuss with new T68i'ers without having to wade through the MMS upgrade discussions, or the Gold.Silver?i which is coller discussions. There are definitely different usage issues, that new T68i'ers might want to discuss, without the other stuff? Laffen? Jh? Group? What do you think??

OOOOOHHHHHHHHH Check you out....

So the T68i is so unique that it deserves a forum of it's own now huh? I don't think so! And if the above topics bore you, simply don't read em!!!!!!

Well, when the T68m came out, that's ALL there were in this section were discussions on usage, settings, etc.... Now, there's so much other stuff.

Don't rag on me for the idea ... just a thought to keep the forums efficient and helpful...

Honestly, I love to read about other T68 users hints, tricks, etc.. but we are getting a lot of too general thoughts, that the core T68 discussions seem to be diluted. For expample, I KNOW there is a thread about T68i settings, firmware, etc..., and even the search takes a while to wade through....

I'm not to sure about your idea about a seperate T68i forum. I know what you mean but being a T68i owner does not make us king of the hill. KS

Why? both mobiles are the same, in a couple of weeks same software so why bother with a new forum for "candytoygameboychildishfemenineT68i" no way man

That is a nice idea, but i dont think it would make much of an impact to improving the quality of the discussions here. And as someone else mentioned, it is not so unique to merit its own forum. Why dont you just start a t68i-only thread instead?

jeff,

you've touched an important subject without knowing it - what Esato actually needs is a section that the idiots can't post on as the kinds of crap that gets posted here is unbelievable...if the admin folk took away the count on peoples # of posts then not so much bullsh** would get posted thus there would be less crap for people to wade through when loking for relevant information.

Why not make a T68-forum for each software version, and each colour..

I can see it now:
Sorry this post is in the wrong forum, you have R2A on your grey T68m, and this is only for us cool people who have upgraed to R2B. Go to your R2A-forum and discuss Tetris, and let us play Naval Fleet in peace!
I'm just not a signature kind of guy..

No, decoy, I understand exactly what you said. And I know I touched on it, but I also know I would "insult" the poeple who just banter.

I am not trying to be elitist, it even applies to the upcoming T68m MMS stuff, which most people have who peruse Esato. We can even call the section "T68i, or T68m converted to T68i settings and issues". There is too much other stuff in this section that does dilute the core discussions regarding functions and settings. And, believe me, with the coming of MMS, AND the new features with the MMS software, be it a converted m or a new i, there are some serious/intersting/funny issues and settings to enlighten each other on. The "general" section call still be left for the "where are you all from" polls, or "gold or silver, dudes?" or "how old/rich/stupic.smart are all of you" threads that highly populate the "general" section .

There are a lot of young people on this forum -- G-d knows, there was a 13 year old posting this week -- my son is 11, I wish he had the interest that 13 year old has! But, there are also 40 year olds (like guess who), well to do dudes, that use the damn phone many thousands of minutes a month, and value info like I do.

Just a thought, not a religious preach.

@decoy7
one man's garbage, is another man's gold. besides, we even have a garbage forum here hehehe

@jucame
i'd agree with you, just talk t68 and ignore the suffix (m, i, ....)

hasn't the issue about t68m being capable of being upgraded as a t68i equivalent make this moot and academic?
