My t68's front cover has gone a bit loose, and the joystick has lost some of its responsiveness. When I went to my SC today, they told me that this is a general fault on all t68's they'we seen. Especially the front cover issue was always present.

Does anyone know is

My T68i is made in Malaysia (week 11) and it is better quality than my last phone (T68, week 3) made in sweden.

First three malaysian, last one made in china. This one (sweden) feels much better, key clicks more definite, lights are much brighter and is faster - this is probably due tonew sw - had R1B on my others! Just hope this one doesn't break, not had much luck so far! Ed

Can't find the thread that shows us how to "read" when your phone was made. How was it again?

I have no idea whether the country of manufacture really makes a difference to the build quality, not having seen any other t68's, but make of this what you will:

Made in Sweden
01W41
R1B

My phone has never suffered from any of the physical problems that others on this forum have reported, nor has the software given me any trouble apart from (count 'em) four reboots since I got the phone in November. I'm sure the latest software would give me some improvements, and I'm looking forward to having MMS, but if there were a serious problem with my phone, I would have exchanged it by now. Sadly, it seems like my experience is in the minority...

My Phone has been behaving nicely too. Made in Sweden, week 50. Only problem was the volume switch, which came loose inside after dropping the phone.

Fortunately, no markings were on the phone, so I was able to get it fixed on guarantee.
