The password is chosen at the time you perform the pairing operation and the same code must be enrtered on both devices but it can be anything from 0000 to 9999. The exception to this rule is headsets as you cannot enter a pairing password into that so it is set to the default of 0000. When pairing with your pc, one is the initiator and one is the acceptor but the pairing password must be entered as the same on both devices. Unless I'm very much mistaken... A-ZoTT
