my T68i and saving numbers 2 my sim? girly need help! |

i have a problem peeps, can u help?
im the girl with the T68 at the mo but normally own a T68i (as i broke my T68i and o2 sent me the wrong replacement phone even tho i hac GOLD insurance!) anyway does anyone hav an idea how i save my favorite numbers 2 my sim properly as it didnt b4 and i lost all my numbers! iv tried the 'position list' n everything else (i think)
can anyone help lil old me? please! or i may hav 2 swap 2 a...... NOKIA AHHHHHH. na im jokin, im no traitor! |

The only option you have is to copy all to the SIM card... the position list is to arrange which ones you want to include when copying the contacts to the sim... let's say you can save 100 numbers on your sim.. then arrange the positionlist so the 100 first numbers are the ones you wanna save (remember that you can only save one number for each contact on the sim) |

iv tried that before. it just saves random numbers to its own accord?? i also filled in gaps in the position list and everything.
its crazy, i dont get it. i dont wanna lose all my numbers again. do u think it has something to do with my memory or something? u sound like a whizzkid wit phones so im trusting ya!

i have a SE t610,so i supose the process must be pretty similar.....
first go to your agenda
then to avanced options
there should be an option "copy all to SIM"
select it and.......voilą
one agenda backup on a sim card
i dont normally write here(mainly because i've only just registered)
but i couldn't resist helping a damsel in distress!!

I have no problem getting the position list working when copying to the simcard on my T68i... how many numbers can you store on the simcard and how many numbers do you have in the phonememory (you see both capacities when checking the memory status from the Phonebook menu)?

my mem status is fine. i have so 99 of 510 in my phone mem and about 79 out of 99 in sim??? i wil cry soon i think. nokia here i come. na im messin again!
oh and mr 'damsel in distress' dude, our phones dont have same menu i think. thanks anyway
