@ Bogus Jimmy,
The line is a just an idea, FXP skin was just to test the functionality of the complete fullscreen of tracker 3!
There will be more fullscreen skins, and there will be a open source skin, so u guys can edit it yourself, symbianware asked me if they are allowed to put the source on the website, i still did not answer, i dont like it when people change/edit my work!
Ok i understand that u guys want backgrounds...
Note that MXP will be released today, i think...

I just love the way the MXP skin looks. When can we get our greedy little hands on it ?
Tracker 3 rocks my phone.

Guys, do realize that MXP has not the functionality of the FXP skin, MXP is more lighted and a smaller skin, its main work is to work between normal apps, so...
It should be in one hour on the site of Symbianware!

I am going to get it for sure!
I think I will learn how to create the Tracker Skin with their skin editor, then perhaps I can put the skins on my site (www.symmobile.com) for people to download.
BTW we have just get listed on SymbianPages.com.

Axl

You know how the fxp skin is full screen, how can you make it so that its still full screen, but all the bottow p800 stuff is shown (battery, signal, bluetooth etc.....) This skin would be awesome if:
-we had the skin semi fullscreen, so that we could still see the bar at the bottom with battery, etc
- DISPLAY THE DAY AND DATE on the normal screen along with thew time thats already there.
- take away that line down the middle (although its good to use speed dials on one side, apps on the other.
If somebody can show me how to do this, id be sweet. I dont understand how to do it myself |

Umm, I don't know...I have to admit I'm a bit disapointed here.
There ARE some definite improvements, but for one, I ALWAYS used jog dial in for fileman and jog dial out for taskman. Now I can't do that. I liked having a separate lock screen. The today screen load is even SLOWER this time around. You can't align icons. For some reason I can't see the entire date STILL (right now I'm missing the 'T' and half the "u" in tuesday, and the number of the date (14). Anyone want to tell me how to fix this problem? I too am a bit disappointed with this release.
1. I don't like the fact that TaskMan and FileMan are separate applications
2. I don't like the fact that you have to press the blue button to unlock the phone. While I'm at work I have my phone sat in the cradle and I use Remote P800 to access it. Now I have to keep reaching over and pressing the button before I can do anything. I might as well just pick the phone up. I would like the choice of a button on the screen as before or pressing the blue button.
3. I don't like the fact that there is no longer a separate lock screen.
4. It would be nice to have the icons snap into position if you wanted them to.
There are some really nice features here, don't get me wrong. It just seems that SymbianWare have fallen into the same hole as SE did when they first released the P800. Put some amazing features in to impress everybody but forget to put in the basic features that made previous models so good. |

I agree that having snap-to-grid or any other way of making the icons line-up or cascade into place is absolutely essential. If you're OCD like me, you like your icons neatly stacked and carefully aligned on your desktop. Instead of being scattered with uneven spaces here and there between them.
That's my main reservation about Tracker 3. Apart from that, and as I said before, Tracker 3 Rocks my P800
MXP is up and I just downloaded it.
I feel like a little kid happy with a new toy with Tracker 3

how do i download tracker3?
i used the link at the bottom of the page and it wouldnt install.
i am using my p800 via o2 gprs.
all that happens is i get the message ÃÂÃÂ¥ÃÂâº: in the p800 viewer.
what have i done wrong? can u email me the solution 2 adrn22m@o2.co.uk please?
i have bought tracker2, how do i upgrade 2 tracker3? how much does it cost 2 upgrade?
i am still new 2 all this, so any help would be appreciated.
ok, i went to:
http://my-symbian.com and downloaded all 3 components of tracker 3, and entered the original code and email address 4 tracker2 in tracker3 and the 2 sub component parts, - the running application manager and the file manager, and it converts the demo in2 the registered version. thanks sweetheart!
it is great now we have the 3 applications of tracker2 in 3 seperate indipendant programs, less memory is used so can run more applications!
i still cant use the link sweetheart posted though at page1.
anybody know why? it has happened loads of times on o2 and orange dial up and gprs internet and wap, so it is not due 2 the network settings!
thanks everybody! tracker in any version is fantastic! i most often use the application manager as most programs cant be closed from within the program! cheers sweetheart!

I have to admit that at first i was a bit dissapointed in tracker 3
But after playing with it for a while i am much happier with this app
The full screen desktop is much better and if i want to see the battery just click on the top right hand corner X then go back to desktop
Importing the background is now a doddle now that i have sussed it out
And being able to pick your own icons for the desktop is a much added bonus
Overall i will be now sticking with tracker 3 |

May be a stupid question but I have the up to date version of Handy Day, what does Tracker have that handy day dont ? is it much better ?
Also does Tracker have the facility to show a pic of the person who has sent you a text message on the desk top, from the website it looks like it does !? |

@Venus
Tracker 3 is much more customizable than Handy Day. It is also more versatile and does a lot of things that Handy Day does not do. Concerning the pictures you saw, these are shortcuts to send SMS to people for which you have pictures associated with their contacts.
