I'm a student in the Netherlands, studying Internanational Business. I'm 18, and just moved here from Singapore, where I lived for 11 years (Chatsworth Road). I need to make some money on the side of my study and I know that mobile phones here are almost, and sometimes more than, twice as expensive as in Singapore.
So getting to the point:
I'll take orders on phones here, then let someone in Singapore know (someone who knows where to get them cheap but complete - no ripoff versions like I got once at lucky plaza), and then that person can mail them to me. I sell them here for a reasonable profit and the person in Singapore shares in that profit.
Easy way to make some extra cash.
Anyone interested?
Of course there are some complications like the law and trust/risk, but we can solve or get around those problems.
Cheers,

I think laffen needs to create a new section in the forums called:

I doubt many would take the opportunity of giving money to a new Esato member who just created an account and his first post is making a suggestion like yours, no matter how honest you might be.
btw. The only rip off version of anything I got from lucky plaza was a genuine immitation rolex... but of course I knew that at the time and its what I wanted! Everything else has been perfect!

hmmm. reasonable point. but nothing a phone call can't solve. my family still lives in singapore so like i said there are ways to solve this. |

For example my brother could give this person the money, all the person would have to do is buy the phone and send it. So essentially I'd have to trust them a lot more than vice versa right? I think a local would just be able to get a better deal in a store. |
