Hi i just bought the t68 and i wanted to know if there is a way to make the operator logo disapear or change it to something else because the Swiss operator logo (in my case SWISSCOM) takes a LOT of space on the display so i can't see the background picture anymore!

Nah, just disable your aerial so you can't get any signal, ever.

Sad this one, i remember my 7110 could be easily changed using PC software and the data cable/Irda I don't know why it's not possible for the t68.. someone should work that out..

That's like saying you have icons on Windows so why can you have icons on DOS character mode!!

It's a different operating system, Nokia and Ericsson do things differently - if you have access to SIM Toolkit and an appropriate SIM you could try and change the operator long and short names to SPACES...

You can create a background and theme to match the operator logo's color to make it disappear, or you can go to mypictures, and select a picture, and leave it on that

I liked the felt tip pen idea!

How about changing the theme so that text/outline/and background are all the same colour... could this work??
Who said I would I never leave Nokia? phhhhhtttttt!
