Thanks chungagoring for a great find...

On first impressions that program looks quite amazing! Everything you could want in one very well integrated program...

I haven't registered it (yet) but looks like I might soon.

Here's the feature list:

  • reading phonebooks from the phone memory and the SIM card (extended phonebook from the phone memory is supported - 5 numbers, 2 texts, email and a person's picture for each entry)
  • editing, uploading and deleting phonebook entries
  • Unicode support for international characters
  • saving phonebook to a file
  • phonebook export as vCards and tab-separated text
  • vCards, PhoneManager and LogoSender format import
  • importing vCards by dragging them from the Mac desktop to the PhoneAgent phonebook window
  • converting local phone numbers to the international format
  • dragging contacts from SIM to phone memory phonebook and vice versa
  • dragging contacts from phonebooks to the Mac desktop as vCards

    SMS messages

  • direct sending SMS when working with phonebooks
  • standard and flash SMS messages
  • SMS sending to multiple recipients
  • QuickFind feature for easy finding phonebook entries when sending SMS
  • Unicode text SMS messages (international characters) - the recipient's phone must support Unicode (UCS2) SMS receiving
  • reading SMS messages from the phone (replying, forwarding, deleting)
  • saving SMS messages to the phone
  • saving SMS messages to archive folders on the hard disk
  • receiving SMS messages directly on the computer screen

    MMS message editor

  • creating MMS messages and uploading them to the phone
  • adding pictures (JPEG, GIF or animated GIF)
  • grabbing picture from Apple iSight camera (if connected)

  • importing sound in QuickTime supported format
  • recording sound from Apple iSight camera (if connected)
  • adding text up to 2000 characters for each slide
  • Unicode support for international characters
  • live preview of the composed MMS message

    Themes

  • creating and editing own themes and uploading them to the phone
  • changing color for every theme item
  • importing pictures

    Send Files

  • sending pictures, sounds, games, themes and other files directly to the phone

    WAP bookmarks

  • editing phone Wap bookmarks

    Notes

Well, I just registered it, because it's great. Even brings in the contact caller ID photos which iSync doesn't.

Costs $29.95, which translates to about £22 inc. VAT (if only this program had come out before the EU decided to impose VAT on digital purchases!).

The theme editor is very good, although a little cluttered and the previews aren't 100% accurate. (The theme previewer I started writing for OS X displays them more accurately, but now that this program is out I guess mine will never be finished!). I particularly like the way when you move the mouse over elements of the phone display, the relevant bits to edit highlight. I think it needs a Theme Previewer window like "Theme Creator Pro" for posting theme previews to the web.

It seems you can't load Themes directly from the phone, just create your own and load existing ones from hard disk. You can send themes to the phone directly from the program though...

It's a really impressive program especially for a first release, and there's so much in it! Us Mac users have had to wait a while for something like this but now its here and it beats anything I've seen/used on Windows...

Now that looks fantastic! Too bad I do not own a MAC

Hopefully one of these days there will be an equivilant part on the PC platform.

Especially the feature with pics in the contacts is great!

I emailed the authors of this program after registering and playing with it for a while.

In future versions, they'll be adding a file browser so Themes, sounds etc. can be loaded direct from the phone. Sounds will be able to be dragged straight from the phone into the MMS creator. They'll also add a export theme as JPEG option for posting theme previews to the web and a check to stop invaild themes from being made.

I've also sent them all the phone graphics from my Theme Previewer to help make the Theme previews more accurate, and I also sent a whole load of other suggestions of which some, I hope, will make it into the program.
