Hey all, my friend is a beta tester for Compelson labs, and it seems as though we finally have some form of communication software THAT ACTAULLY WORKS! Now this is finally going to revolutionize things…

With that Mobiledit software, you can connect via cable, infrared and even Bluetooth. It has an amazing phonebook editor, dialing, incoming calls, sending multi SMS, auto backup, firmware, MS Outlook connector, expandable with other applications and games (Chess included), to support your phone, just add the driver. Source codes of this project should be released as well!

Still in beta, but it looks like they will deploy it within 2 weeks, seems like it warrant’s investigation by all of us involved in the mobile phones…

Maybe try this link, it might still work to get the software:

Too bad the link does not work. I looked at their website as well, no luck.

I also have found to reference to which phones are supported. There are a bunch of pictures on their websites of a T68i, Alcatal OTE, Siemens, etc. but no T610

If you have the beta of the software let me know and I can provide it on my website for download. Just send me a PM on the board and I will send you my email adress.

Best regards.

The program was really easy to install, the included wizard makes it really fast & easy to use. I am using a BT Connection and the wizard scanned the COMPORTs and found my T610.

The version I got is beta 9 build 0.99.0.17 - in the included readme it states that I am not allowed to distribute it. Sorry.

The Program itself looks really nice, is easy to use and IMHO so far the best app for the T610.

I made some screenshots:

I know this thread is rather old but here is a new post anyway. You can find the MobilEdit! software on:

www.mobiledit.com

I installed it yesterday, and think it's a smooth ride. More than worth installing. I had lot of grief trying to configure the Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone Monitor (one moment it's working, and the next not), so I cut it short and installed mobilEdit instead. It's very good for managing phonebooks, sending sms (single or bulk), but lack integration to the phone callendar and notes. Hopefully they will fix this on a future release.
