Need help buying USB BT Dongle |

Hello there everyone. As you can see im new here at esato, new at Ericsson phones, new at Sony phones, new at BlueTooth and even new to GSM (i just got rid of my old Nokia 8260 CMDA, it was good while it lasted) in favor of a brand new t68i, which i instantly fell in love with 
Anyway, into what matters. I was looking around the forums looking for information on how to synchronize my t68i with my computer and also how to send and receive files. In one of the posts someone said BT was the best way since it had more features (i was going to buy a cable, but got turned off since i wouldnt be able to send files to my computer with it).
So i come to this, i need to buy a BT dongle for my PC, but have no idea what to get. I read a post on someone saying a 3com dongle would cost 250£ which is a lot more expensive then phone itself.
Doing a quick search at ebay (filtered to meet my region and payment type) and found the following items:
Mini USB BlueTooth Dongle Adapter 30m Range
Bluetooth 2.4G Wireless USB Dongle Adapter
USB BlueTooth Dongle Adapter 40m/120ft
Are any of those cheap-priced dongles capable of doing all possible features supported by the t68i?

Thanks. Any online stores selling those? I see you used it with your t610, does it work on the t68i too? |

It works with T68 as well.
Can't help you with online stores, sorry. (I've only used my local online stores, and I can't recommend something I havn't tried)

D-link DBT-120 was cheapest here in Uk for me, from Expansys.
Works Ok, it's the software which is shit imo. That Widcomm setup is utter toilet. |

The Belkin USB Bluetooth dongle is pretty good, but the tried and tested TDK is still the best as it is tested with Sony Ericsson products and can perform more features via Bluetooth with SE phones than most others.

only think I can add is just dont bother with the MS one which comes with the mouse/keyboard.
utter pants.
I have a Laptop with built in blue tooth so I thought I'd be able to use the BT mouse with the laptop & not bother with the dongle, But No the mouse'll only work with the dongle!
MS said to disable the builtin BT in my laptop, yep coz I'd do that when my Lappys BT supports like 5 x the profiles the MS thing did.
So I left it a while & thought I know I'll slap the dongle on my desktop & use it to syncronise with my BT enabled Ipaq. but Noooo. the BT dongle didn't support a serial profile which is required for activesync. again I complained to MS.
"Sorry" was about all I got.
aside from the ruddy mouse being massive with no on/off switch to prevent battery drain while its knocking around in my laptop bag.
Not one of Billy Boys best ideas that effort. |

billiontone dongle costs about 30usd here in Sweden, works perfectly and takes aboyt 2mins to set up. |
