hey people,
i just received my MA 600 and tried to install it but have had a few problems...firstly the drivers for 98 on the cd was one file..suggesting they were already in system or the win98 cd but no nothing there. i kept getting file not found when trying to install.
is there anywhere where i can find drivers for IR for windows 98 that will work with my t68?

but the 98 driver only includes 2 files and i think i need the IRDA drivers for actual windows for an IR device.

Hey,
I have an omnibook xe3 (gc) and i have upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows 2000. I then recently enabled my IR port and started using it. The problem came when I restarted my cpu, and windows wouldn't start. When i disabled the IR port (in the BIOS), windows was able to start again.
Can anybody help me solve this problem, possibly providing a link where I can download an update for the IR port to operate in Windows 2000?

Hi,
I'm trying to install an IRDA for my PC so I can upload pics from my t68i to my pc But I don't have the drivers in Windows98 and I can't find them on the win98 disk either. anybody have an idea??? it's looking for 10 files but my pc has some of them???? anybody think they could send them to me via email or find a download site.... or am i doing something wrong?? files required "infrared.cnt, infrared.cpl, irmon.exe, irshell.dll, irxfer.cnt, irxfer.exe, irxfer.hlp, ir_new.wav, wsirda.vxd, indrared.hlp"

@mafiamusic - try this: right click on your computer (on desktop) right click - then go to device manager along the top - then find ur IR device menu & maximize it - then right click the IR device & slect properties - it will then give u device status in the middle - whatever it says click on the driver tab bar - then update driver, search for a better driver then microsoft windows update - then it will search for u & install it if it finds one - then close & re-boot.
