I have a Plantronics M3000 that works great with my T610. The only thing I can't do though is voice dial. Am I supposed to be using a certain profile? I know if I plug a regular headset in, the profile automatically changes. But when my headset connects, it stays at the normal profile. Anyone else having this problem? Everything else on my BT headset works fine.

i had the same problem with the plantronics m3000 and my t68i , first pair the bluetooth with the phone , then go to incar profile and then go to add accesorie , then choose accesory ( you only get two accesories car hands free and Accesory , choose accesory) im telling you how i fixed that problem with my t68i i dont know how to work the t610 ... then go to select profile , then choose normal and there you go every time you turn on your bluetooth it will automatically change to that profile (in car) you can rename the profile , and in order to have voice dialing you have to first activate the voice dialing function ... and then always have it in the " on " mode , like i said this is from my t68i , hope it helps ...

@sparky72

A long button press, about 3s, headset will beep then T610 will start to voice dial. You must have voice tags stored for it to work.

Thanks Neo001. The menu is the same on the T610. It takes a few minutes for the profile to kick in but when I turn on my BT headset, the "In Car" profile does activate. However, voice dialing still does not work. If I hold the button down, I hear the beep in the BT headset but no go. If I'm scolling through the directory, all the voice names come through the phone, not the headset. Maybe voice dialing just doesn't work with the M3000?

But does'nt the user manual for the M3000 say that it supports V-dialing? i was contemplating getting one for my P800, maybe we should just stick to SE bluetooth headsets if thats the case, they may cost more but at least they do what they say on the box.

voice dialling works great on my m3000 and t610 - see my review in the thread "Recommend me a non SE BT headset"

As above, ensure you have voice tags recorded for all your contacts.

Press and hold the main button on the headset for a few seconds until you hear a longer beep.

Wait for a few seconds and you will get another "squelchy" type of noise - say your voice tag - the headset says it back to you and then dials the number.

Works fine.

It works for me too, BUT I donīt hear a beep from the phone when it wants me to choose a name. I have to listen very carefully for, like more of a crackle. When the phone wants me to choose mobile, work or home i DO get a beep though.
To sum it up, I think the M3000 is better than HBH-30 and HBH-60 when it comes to comfort standby/talk time and sound quality. Itīs really just the voice dial "bug" that gives me any grief.

I also have a M3000 and T610 and it work great except for that I can not listen the voice tag when I receive a Call. Have Any one solve it?
Other problem is fast re-dial, with double click in the Headset do not work.
