I'm a part of Team Esato.
You might want to share with all of all of the members of Esato what we, the moderators, can do for you?
And please post your topics in the right forum in the future.

hi tranquil! i posted a message regarding my observations on the specs of the t610, t616 and t618 on your website. unfortunately, (and i mentioned it on the post) i did not have the time to find the right thread and posted it on a thread under asia-pacific-"where can i find the cheapest openline t610...".

i just checked it and it was apparently moved or deleted. checked my pms but no message as to the reason. no big a deal to me and i already pm'd GOwin re this. but it was quite a lengthy post and i am interested as to what the replies were. if any. appreciate it if the mods can pm us one in a while though re our posts. thanks!

All I can say about your missing post is: I don't know... Sorry.
Team Esato has independent moderators who work individually. Mostly there are no problems when it comes to moving, removing and etiting topics or posts. The individual moderator have been given "fairly" free hands to do what he thinks is right there and then by Laffen who is the owner and creator of Esato.

I agree that mods ought to PM the author of a thread if changes has been done to it. That would simplifie life for the members, in deed. But that would be very difficult for the individual moderator to follow up at all times.
There is several for that, but the most important reason I think is time. Non of the mods get paid for this and do it as a "hobby" in their own time.
Personally I try to PM authors if I move a thread with the new link to where they will find it but I am short of time as well some times so it is easy to forget.
Hope this covers it?

thanks tranquil for the prompt reply as well as your explanation. i do understand completely. it was just that, since i am filipino, i always check the asia-pacific threads for the latest news and thought would get a quick and easy reply by posting there. guess i should have been more diligent in checking the threads out!

anyways, my chief concern was that i am planning to buy a t616 phone over here and send it to my brother in the philippines. i was comparing the specs of the phone here in esato (where else!) and noticed a discrepancy in the talk/standby times of the t610 as compared with the t616 and t618; as well as the bandwith of the latter phone. just wanted to clarify if the listed specs were accurate.

thanks again tranquil and i guess your name is just appropriate as to what it has made my mind become as regards my missing post. bye and more power!

p.s. can you become a mod of the asia-pacific threads too, please? (just joking!)
