I have an idea, which maybe possible.
It would save us from ever typing 'USE THE SEARCH'
Esato should filter & search for the topic you are starting,
before the post goes public.
It can then match all relevant topics/posts.
Then you can post if not happy with these.
Is that to much?

I don't think it would work. You can search for almost anything and find a result. Basically the automation would end up *always* running a search for you before letting you post a topic. In the end posters would just hop over that step without ever noticing it. Maybe directing a new user to a FAQ first time they are going to post could work, though I doubt it's effectiveness as well.

FAQ or READ HERE in red letters does not work very well - how many times do u end up writing 'search' or cut 'n' pasting a link to another thread?
Maybe its possible.
It can list all relevant topics then you can submit your thread at the bottom of the page - its not forcing you to read it.

@orangeman
I think it's a great idea but the problem is that when nobody is forcing you to read it, you don't read it. Especially when you are in a hurry to post.
